The power of passion..., understanding this principle in the grand canyon! (English post)

A few weeks ago I had the privilege of sailing and rafting on the famous Grand Canyon of the Colorado River in Arizona, with a tremendous friend of mine and financier of the profession from Brigham Young University in the U.S., but today is one of the most sought Rafting guides and acquaintances of that paradise. 

Jake is one of those who speak, dress and has a deep understanding of both the reading of water, the story associated with the Grand Canyon, rafting (each .. including Lava Fall, ufff .., or Christ ... or 232 or 234) and even the geology of this place, his house is full of information, books, manuals, Kayaks, paddles, and all that's in there speaks for itself on the passion of Jake. Hence the passion for what he does, communicate and create memorable experiences allows each passenger traveling with him. That is a powerful Personal Brand, a person can generate magnetism and make opportunities come to him. 

As a specialist in Personal Branding, and as the creator of the theme "Magnetízate!, From personal branding to radical positioning theme that I actually travel through several countries, this lived experience with Jake fed my next topic, which is called "Talent, passion and market ", and soon will travel different places. 

In relation to the passion that I could learn from Jake and which I believe strongly that marks radical differences, I think many people will never have felt as they prefer to move in life in the field of the known, rather than trying to figure out what that really makes them vibrate. 

All are able to feel the strong power, it can not be true that there are passionate people and dispassionate people. I, for one, have never believed it. What I do know is that there are people who seek in life, struggle and risk and "comfortable" (or comfort zone) people, that they do not feel that energy and force of passion, never risk. 

On the other hand, there are people who want to have "unique" passions linked to great talents and think they never will fascinate because they have such spectacular talents, or do not listen to music as you have to listen, or do not know look at the painting as there to look at it, or do not enjoy the sport the way others do ... and here I rebel for two reasons: 

Because not all passions have to be necessarily related to sport or art. 

You are the sole owner of your feelings and how you want to feel life depends solely on you. I live let me and you? 

Some people reading this long list and feel bad, and refuse to recognize that they are one of many potential "living dead" (67% of employees between 18 and 35 years is unhappy at work, they say it is "disappointment "that has not met your expectations), yet some prefer regret that move. Taking self-responsibility and proactivity find it too hard: 

"I was born like this" or "do you want to do, the way things are" or "What good fight, if the end of the day what will happen has to happen", or the funniest "After this life there´s no other ".. 

Others, however, become aware that if you are not passionate about an activity, is because it offers them no growth, no happiness, no expansion, and decide to embark in search of passion, to advise them that they will take time to work the following 6 steps: 

1. Write a list of your 15 passions (the things you love, that are most important to you and that are essential to your happiness). 

2. Choose 3 you love. 

3. Write 4 or 5 indicators that describe what happens when you're living each of these three passions (when I'm walking the beach, feel the sun in the evening). 

4. Write limiting beliefs or those "toxic paradigms" that keep

you from living these passions. 

5. Identifies those toxic people you can be around, they see a problem for "ALL", negative by definition, please identify them these usually extinguished our flame of passion. 

6. Align your passions to your professional performance (do your hobbies a way of life that give you income. Recalls, passion and success are inseparable). 

In short, life with passion is to live every moment of life and enjoy it intensely, to live with all the senses, we live the reality that all the time gives you life: "You can not live, really live without be passionate about what you do. "

And best of all, when we are with people we live with passion felt more intensely, because passion is contagious. When people talk about their passions are filled with light ... DO NOT FORGET ..
